David E. Lee joined Brandywine Asset Management as the firm's chief operating officer, a new position. Mr. Lee came from SEI Corp., where he was president of the fund resources division, the mutual fund accounting area. An SEI spokesman said the firm is reorganizing and may eliminate the position.
James R. Norris joined Cooke & Bieler as a principal. He will be a research analyst and portfolio manager, a new position. He was co-investment officer at Sturdivant & Co. His replacement there has not yet been named
