Strong Funds launched three stock funds: Strong Foreign MajorMarkets Fund, a quantitative, value-oriented fund to invest in developed markets; Strong Overseas Fund, which will invest in at least 10 countries at all times, using a disciplined approach to country allocation, currency and stock selection; and Strong Strategic Growth Fund, which will invest in inexpensive midcap and large-cap growth stocks.
Separately, Strong is seeking approval from its board and shareholders to merge its Strong Small Cap Fund into the Strong Growth Fund.
