The stock market rocketed through the roof today as three major indexes closed at record highs.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 2.52%, or 234.30 points, to 9545.49. The S&P 500 jumped 2.21%, or 27.55 points, to 1272.33.
The Nasdaq composite soared 3.08%, or 69.35 points, to 2320.62.
New York Stock Exchange volume was 983 million shares. Nasdaq volume was 1.2 billion shares.
