Fulton County Retirement System, Atlanta, selected 12 investment options for its new 401(a) plan, which will be enrolling all new employees July 7. The options, offered through Nationwide Trust, are: Nationwide Money Market; Goldman Sachs Government Income Fund A; INVESCO Total Return; BT Pyramid: Investment Equity 500; Federated American Leaders Fund A; Dreyfus Appreciation; America Century International Growth Advisors; INVESCO Dynamics; INVESCO Small Company Growth; Dreyfus Lifetime Income; Dreyfus Lifetime Growth and Income; and Dreyfus Lifetime Growth.
A total of 6,000 employees will be eligible for the new plan. Existing employees will be allowed to switch to the defined contribution plan Nov. 1. Patrick OConnor, county finance director, said it will save the county future pension dollars.
