Cometa, the 400 billion lire ($210 million) fund for Italian metal workers, selected six balanced managers to manage the entire pension fund. Assicurazioni Generali and Paribas each will run conservative portfolios, with equities capped at 10%; San Paolo-IMI and Europlus CreditRolo will run portfolios with stocks capped at 30%; and Cisalpina-Fineco and a joint venture between INVESCO and AIG will manage portfolios with 60% equity caps.
