Castle Harlan, manager of several private equity funds, announced that one of its portfolio companies — StackTeck Systems, the largest independent plastic injection mold-maker in North America — acquired Unique Mould Makers Ltd. of Toronto in a transaction valued at $7.12 million. Investors in Castle Harlan funds include: State of Michigan Department of Treasury Bureau of Investments; New Hampshire Retirement System; Oregon Public Employees Retirement System; San Francisco City & County Employees’ Retirement System; the pension funds of Bell Atlantic, American Airlines and IBM; the endowment funds of Brown University and MIT.
