Mellon Bank announced it has met its June 30 Y2K goals and is ready for 2000 — all important technology systems have been tested successfully. Mellon Bank is the parent company of Mellon Bond Associates, Mellon Capital Management and Mellon Equity Associates, and to mutual fund companies Dreyfus and Founders Asset Management. The Y2K project began in 1996 and has enlisted more than 500 employees across Mellon.
