Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, hired Metropolitan West Asset Management to run $50 million in core domestic fixed-income to provide diversification for its $1.5 billion endowment, said Jack Powell, manager of treasury. Mr. Powell said funding came from reducing other domestic fixed-income investments.
