Ralph Verni will resign as president and CEO of State Street Research, effective May 5. MetLife, State Street’s parent company, has begun a search for a replacement. Jeff Hodgman will become interim CEO, and Jerry Maus will take over Mr. Verni’s operational duties until a replacement is found.
