American Freightways Inc., Harrison, Ark., selected American Funds’ Investment Co. of America large-cap value fund for its $200 million 401(k) plan. The new investment option replaces a similar fund from Kemper because returns were low in comparison with similar funds, said Macy McCormick, benefits coordinator.
The plan offers nine other options.
Prudential is administrator, trustee and record keeper.
