Kansas City (Mo.) Employees’ Retirement System hired J.P. Morgan to oversee $30 million in real estate assets, said Rick Boersma, retirement systems executive officer. The $675 million plan entered the asset class as a result of an asset allocation study. Funding will come from the plan’s core-plus fixed-income and small-cap equity portfolios.
