Signal Capital Partners closed its latest credit and real estate fund, Signal Alpha II Fund, at €900 million ($1.1 billion), ahead of its €850 million target, a spokesman said.
Signal's alternative lending strategy targets commercial real estate investments such as private lending, acquisition of debt portfolios and special situation equity.
Investors in the fund include $36 billion Texas County & District Retirement System, Austin.
Signal’s predecessor funds, Signal Real Estate Opportunities Fund LP, which raised €450 million, and Signal Credit Opportunities Fund LP, which raised €275 million, closed in 2017.
