Kinderhook Industries closed its middle-market buyout fund Kinderhook Capital Fund VI at its hard cap of $1 billion, according to a news release Tuesday.
The fund focuses on control-oriented investments in companies within the light manufacturing, automotive, health-care services, and business and environmental services.
The manager's previous fund, Kinderhook Capital Fund V, closed at its hard cap of $750 million in 2016.
Investors in Fund VI include the $121.8 billion New York State Teachers' Retirement System, Albany.
Kinderhook Industries officials could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
