Canadian alternative money manager InstarAGF Asset Management closed its flagship infrastructure fund InstarAGF Essential Infrastructure II at $1.2 billion, according to a news release Monday.
The fund, which focuses on North American middle-market opportunities within infrastructure and other real asset sectors, exceeded its $1 billion fundraising target, according to the news release.
The inaugural fund, InstarAGF Essential Infrastructure Fund I, closed at C$740 million ($537 million) in 2017.
Investors include the $31.5 billion Texas Municipal Retirement System, Austin.
