Henderson Park Capital Management closed its Henderson Park Real Estate Fund I at $2.2 billion, ahead of its $950 million target, a spokeswoman said.
HPREF I was seeded with a $500 million cornerstone commitment from Stone Point Capital, Kuwait Investment Authority and Wafra Investment Advisory Group. Also, the $1.7 billion Louisiana School Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, committed $40 million to the fund.
The fund makes equity commitments of $50 million to $150 million per deal into value-add and opportunistic real estate investments across Europe.
