Nick Bartlett has been named CEO of the U.K. branch of the Chartered Financial Analysts, according to a news release.
The CFA is a U.S.-based learning program for financial professionals, with 12,000 members in the U.K. It also runs the nonprofit CFA Institute, which provides further financial education opportunities.
Bartlett will start in April and will be based in London. He replaces Will Goodhart, who has been in the position since 2006 and will step down in March.
“Nick’s understanding of investment professionals’ needs for skills and knowledge — and of the best tools and techniques for delivering those — make him well-positioned to build on the society’s success,” said Hilary Eastman, chair of the CFA U.K. board, in the news release.
Bartlett is currently senior head of learning content and innovation at the CFA Institute. He joined the CFA Institute in 2018 having spent the previous six years as director of education at CFA U.K. The CFA Institute couldn't immediately be reached regarding a replacement for Bartlett.
