Butte County Deferred Compensation Committee, Oroville, Calif., voted to keep an active domestic small-cap blend equity fund managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors following the completion of a shortlist search.
The committee conducted the search because the funds in the plan managed by Dimensional Fund Advisors, which also includes an active domestic large-cap value equity fund in the plan, have been on watch for performance.
The committee at its May 7 meeting following the small-cap blend search presentation by Hyas Group voted to stick with Dimensional Fund Advisors and keep the manager on watch, recently released minutes show.

Nationwide Financial is the plan's record keeper. The committee oversees a 457 plan and 3121 plan that had a combined total of $54 million in assets as of Dec. 31, 2017, the most recent data available.
