The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange are collaborating on several initiatives, including dual listings, the parties said in a Nov. 17 announcement.
ADX, established in November 2000, is part of ADQ and NYSE is part of Intercontinental Exchange. A memorandum of understanding is designed to support cross-border listings, the organizations said in a news release. The two exchanges will also explore opportunities to develop ETFs and data and index products, and collaborate on sustainability-related initiatives, the release said.
On Nov. 9, ADX said it had selected the ICE Global Network to offer global institutional investors direct access to ADX market data and order entry.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, said in the release that the collaboration provides companies "with greater visibility and access to a larger pool of investors while offering them the opportunity to participate in the growth stories of companies from diverse geographic regions."
