Most millennials continue to feel like they don't have their financial houses in order, according to a survey conducted by Georgetown University in October 2021 and released on March 24. For instance, 52% said they were concerned their savings won't last and 48% are living paycheck to paycheck. Only 32% felt that they were securing their financial future.
The attitudes worsened since last year's survey, even though the latest survey was conducted more than a year after the worst of the pandemic's economic effects in spring 2020.
