During Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Gary Gensler's first 30 months, the agency proposed 63 rules. His two immediate predecessors, Mary Jo White and Jay Clayton, had 33 and 39 rule proposals, respectively, during that time period.
SEC off to fast start
Out of Gensler's 63 proposals, he saw 21 finalized. After their first 30 months, White oversaw nine rules finalizations, and Clayton had 16.
