Among plan sponsors, 89% said a fee of up to 24 basis points was the highest they were willing to pay for managed accounts as an opt-in solution, according to the PGIM 2025 DC Plan Sponsor Landscape Survey of 302 retirement plan decision-makers completed in September and October. That’s less than the current fee commonly charged, which is 25 basis points or more.
More than one-third, 35%, said they would make managed accounts available if it was free and another 35% would pay less than 10 basis points.
