U.K. equity markets ticked higher during Monday's trading, their first session since the country formally left the European Union.
The large-cap FTSE 100 index rose 0.55%, while the broader FTSE 250 index gained about 0.1%. Ten-year gilts yielded 0.51% at the end of the day, a 2.1% decline from Jan. 31's close. The broad French and German indexes gained 0.45% and 0.49%, respectively.
