Asset owners have varying allocations to private equity and venture capital strategies, according to the recently released Pensions & Investments and Casey Quirk Future of Investment Management Survey. The owners include corporate and public pension plans, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds and insurance companies.
The portion of asset owners with no allocation to private equity or venture capital ranged from 33% for growth equity to 52% for both early and late-stage venture capital. The percentage that met target allocations ranged from 28% to 41%.
