In the second quarter, there were $2.1 billion of net inflows into collective investment trusts' money market accounts, according to data provided by Morningstar. This broke a string of six quarters in which CIT money markets had net outflows, including the first quarter's $658 million in outflows.
CIT money markets saw second-quarter net inflows
CITs' money market assets totaled $66.8 billion at the end of the second quarter, up from the previous quarter's $64.6 billion. A year ago, money market assets totaled $69.8 billion.
