Perry Offutt will join H.R.L. Morrison & Co., the Wellington, New Zealand-based global infrastructure investor, in mid-October as head of North America.
The position is a new one at the firm.
Morrison opened an office in New York last year as part of a push to build out Morrison’s infrastructure investment business in North America, a spokeswoman for the firm said.
A Morrison news release Thursday said the firm is “actively growing its U.S. investment portfolio by leveraging its key investment themes of decarbonization, data and connectivity, and social infrastructure.”
Mr. Offutt will come to Morrison from UBS Asset Management in New York, where he has served as managing director, head of infrastructure Americas, for the past 3 1/2 years.
UBS Asset Management is appointing Danny Mills and Martin Lanternier as co-heads of infrastructure Americas. Messrs. Mills and Lanternier had been portfolio managers for infrastructure equity.
Morrison & Co. had $16 billion in assets under management as of Sept. 1.
