Hilkka Komulainen has been named global head of sustainability and impact at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, a specialist global investment manager focused exclusively on the infrastructure needed for the energy transition.
The appointment is effective Nov. 25, said a Nov. 21 news release. Komulainen succeeds Anne Foster, the release noted.
In her role, the London-based Komulainen will direct Quinbrook’s sustainability and impact initiatives across all funds and regions. Komulainen formerly served as head of responsible investment at Aegon U.K., a DC pension provider.
An Aegon spokesperson stated “we have integrated Responsible Investment within our wider Investment Proposition team. Pauline Vaskou will continue to lead on climate, while Samantha Chew will maintain her role in overseeing our stewardship activity.”
Quinbrook has $4.8 billion in assets under management.
