Teresa O'Flynn has joined private Ara Partners as a partner and co-lead of the firm's infrastructure strategy, said spokesman Mark Semer in an email.
In a new position, Ms. O'Flynn will co-head the business alongside Churchill George Yong, who joined Ara Partners in February.
Ms. O'Flynn had been a managing director at BlackRock, and a senior investor for Decarbonization Partners, a joint venture of BlackRock and Temasek Holdings, Singapore's S$403 billion ($280.5 billion) state investment arm.
"Decarbonization Partners has expanded its leadership team in recent months and now has five managing directors globally, who are highly experienced venture capital and growth equity professionals," a BlackRock spokesman said in an email in response to questions.
