Henry Howell joined digital assets hedge fund manager Nickel Digital Asset Management as head of business development, a spokesman confirmed.
The role is new and Mr. Howell is based in London.
Nickel Digital, launched in 2019, has about $200 million in institutional AUM. It was founded by senior traders and investment professionals from major Wall Street banks and runs four cryptocurrency strategies.
Mr. Howell joined from London-based macro hedge fund Eisler Capital. Details on his previous role and any replacement were not available. Prior to that, he spent 16 years at Goldman Sachs in Chicago and London, with roles including managing director in the prime services business, and head of listed and global head of electronic futures, a Nickel Digital news release said.
