Kerryann Benjamin was named chief diversity officer and head of talent management at alternative money manager KKR.
Based in New York, she will lead KKR's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as well as the manager's global talent development, a news release said Thursday.
"While we are proud of the progress we have made over the last few years taking steps to increase our diversity and inclusion efforts, we are committed to going even further as we continue this important work with our employees and the communities that we serve," said Sandra Ozola, KKR's global head of human capital, in the news release. A KKR spokeswoman declined further comment.
Ms. Benjamin had been at Goldman Sachs Group, most recently as managing director and head of human capital management for consumer wealth management, said spokeswoman Abbey Collins.
KKR had $429 billion in assets under management as of June 30.
