Eli Manning was named partner at private equity firm Brand Velocity Partners.
The two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback will be involved in sourcing new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the firm's growth and increasing the value of its portfolio companies, a news release said Monday.
Brand Velocity Partners invests broadly in multiple sectors and also forms marketing partners in the sports and entertainment industries.
Mr. Manning's involvement with Brand Velocity Partners began in March as a brand ambassador for portfolio company BBQGuys, along with his brother Peyton, also a two-time Super Bowl winner.
Eli Manning won two Super Bowls with the NFL's New York Giants during his 16 seasons with the team before retiring following the 2019 season.
A spokesman for Brand Velocity Partners declined to comment on assets under management.
