Cohen & Steers has launched its first active exchange-traded funds: Cohen & Steers Real Estate Active ETF, Cohen & Steers Preferred and Income Opportunities Active ETF and Cohen & Steers Natural Resources Active ETF.
Cohen & Steers Real Estate Active ETF, known by the ticker CSRE, invests in a broad universe of public real estate securities, said a news release Feb. 5. CSRE is managed by Jason Yablon, head of listed real estate, and portfolio managers Mathew Kirschner and Ji Zhang.
Cohen & Steers Preferred and Income Opportunities Active ETF, known by the ticker CSPF, invests across the preferred securities universe with a focus on investment-grade, institutional preferred securities. CSPF is managed by Elaine Zaharis-Nikas, head of fixed income and preferred securities, and portfolio managers Jerry Dorost and Robert Kastoff.
Cohen & Steers Natural Resources Active ETF, known by the ticker CSNR, invests in companies involved in the production, extraction and processing of natural resources including energy, agriculture and metals. CSNR is managed by Tyler Rosenlicht, head of natural resource equities.
“We see significant tailwinds for real assets and preferred securities, and believe that an allocation to these asset classes can lead to superior investment outcomes compared to traditional 60/40 stock/bond portfolios,” CEO Joseph Harvey said in the news release.
Cohen & Steers has $85.8 billion in assets under management.
