Griffin Frank and Alexander Berg have been appointed head of ETF capital markets and head of ETF sales, respectively, at Cohen & Steers, said a news release Feb. 11.
Both positions are new. The appointments follow the firm's recent launch of three fully transparent active ETFs focused on real estate, preferred securities and natural resource equities. These ETFs will be available to all investors, including institutional investors, a spokesperson confirmed.
Frank will oversee the firm's ETF capital markets function and lead the liquidity strategy for Cohen & Steers' active ETF platform, the news release said. He reports to Matthew Karcic, senior vice president and head of trading.
Frank most recently was vice president at T. Rowe Price Group in the firm's ETF capital markets division. "As our ETF business expands, our firm continues to assess resources," A spokesperson for T. Rowe Price said. "To meet growing business needs, we’ve recently added new roles to ETF sales, ETF specialists, capital markets and ETF enablement teams."
Berg will be responsible for leading the development and expansion of the firm's active ETF platform. He reports to Dan Noonan, executive vice president and head of the wealth management consulting group.
Prior to joining Cohen & Steers, Berg was vice president and senior national account manager at State Street Global Advisors. State Street could not be immediately reached for further details.
Cohen & Steers has $85.8 billion in assets under management.
