Andrew Bowley was named international head of sustainability for Wells Fargo.
It is a new position, a spokesperson confirmed in an email.
Bowley, based in London, said in a Nov. 24 social media post that the role was created to lead development of strategic initiatives and corporate commitments on sustainability outside the U.S., with a particular focus on APAC and EMEA.
Bowley was with Nomura for nine years, most recently serving as sustainability governance officer. Information about his replacement there was not immediately available.
