Will Goodhart was named the first executive director for the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance, effective April 22.
FoSDA is a multimember alliance that aims to tackle global environmental and social challenges by providing data and analytics. Its member firms are from sustainability data, analytics, ratings, research and index providers, and include Moody’s, Morningstar Sustainalytics and S&P Global. The alliance was formed in January 2020 in Davos, Switzerland, led by data firm Refinitiv, now known as LSEG Data & Analytics, and the World Economic Forum.
Goodhart will report to FoSDA's board, a news release said.
“This appointment reflects our members’ commitment to shaping the future of sustainable data at a pivotal time for the sustainable data and research industry and its clients,” said Catalina Secreteanu, board chair and managing director, ESG solutions-Europe at Morningstar Sustainalytics, in the news release. “Collaboration is key, and Will’s leadership will drive FoSDA’s initiatives, foster partnerships and champion the role of high-quality data and decision-making.”
Goodhart was CEO at CFA U.K. Nick Bartlett was named as his replacement, effective in April.
