Nathalie Wallace was named head of environmental, social and governance and development at Mirova.
It is a new position at the responsible investing subsidiary of Natixis Investment Managers.
She reports to Amber Baker, deputy CEO (U.S.) and Anne-Laurence Roucher, deputy CEO and head of development and operations (France), a spokeswoman said.
Ms. Wallace was previously global head of ESG investment strategy at State Street Global Advisors. SSGA spokesman Brendan Paul could not be immediately reached for further information.
As of Sept. 30, Mirova had $18.6 billion in assets under management.
