Fiona Reynolds, CEO of Principles for Responsible Investment, is stepping down at the end of the year.
The Principles for Responsible Investment are voluntary principles that can be used to incorporate ESG issues into investment practices.
Ms. Reynolds said in a blog post that she is returning to Australia after leading PRI in London for nearly a decade. PRI now has a three-year strategy in place, "and the organisation in a strong position to carry its mission forward," she said.
PRI Chairman Martin Skancke, a former asset management official with the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, said in a statement that Ms. Reynolds has led PRI's growth "with tremendous commitment, energy and experience."
PRI will work with a recruitment firm to find her replacement.
