Charlie Gailliot has joined KKR & Co as a partner and co-head of the firm's new global climate strategy team, said a KKR spokeswoman in an email.
He joins Emmanuel Lagarrigue, a partner and the other co-head of the global climate business within KKR's infrastructure business. Rounding out the new team is Neil Arora, a partner on KKR's infrastructure team who leads the strategy in Asia. Both Messrs. Lagarrigue and Arora joined KKR in 2022.
Mr. Gailliot until February was a partner and head of the energy transition and the diversified industrials investment teams at Goldman Sachs. Executives at Goldman Sachs declined to comment on his replacement.
