Mark Manning, the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority's sustainable finance strategist, will leave the regulator by the end of the year.
Manning posted on social media Oct. 16 that he is launching New Paradigm Advisory to help regulators, policymakers and others on sustainable finance.
He will continue to advise the FCA on key initiatives, including the U.K. Transition Plan Taskforce. On Oct. 9 the task force launched a disclosure framework with best practices for companies and financial institutions to meet climate targets and manage risks.
He will also work with the IFRS Foundation to support global adoption of new sustainability-related reporting standards from the International Sustainability Standards Board, Manning said.
Information about his replacement at FCA was not immediately available.
