Molly Betournay joined Invesco as director of ESG research, a spokesperson confirmed.
She replaced Sudip Hazra, who left the firm earlier this year. Hazra was named as director of the First Sentier Investors' First Sentier MUFG Sustainable Investment Institute in June.
Betournay leads a team of seven ESG research analysts. The team supports Invesco's investment teams. She reports to Glen Yelton, global head of ESG.
Invesco had $1.45 trillion in assets under management as of Oct. 31.
Betournay was director of social research and advocacy at Clean Yield Asset Management, a Vermont-based impact investing and advisory firm. Details on any replacement were not immediately available.
