Bonnie Saynay was named to lead global ESG research for ISS ESG, the responsible investment arm of Institutional Shareholder Services Inc., the firm said Monday.
The position is new. Ms. Saynay will be responsible for ISS' global data strategy and research, leading teams evaluating ESG market standards and evolving ESG frameworks.
"We are collectively delighted to have someone of Bonnie's caliber joining the business as momentum towards ESG integration accelerates and institutions look to ISS ESG as the gold-standard in sustainability research, ratings and data," said Marija Kramer, ISS' head of ESG business, in a statement.
Ms. Saynay founded Global ESG Advisors and served as global head of responsible investment for Invesco Ltd., where she built the ESG stewardship strategy and global platform, advising asset owners and regulators in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.
