Megan Nixon was named director and head of environmental, social and governance at alternatives manager Apogem Capital, a spokeswoman said in an email.
It is a new position. Ms. Nixon will work with the manager's leadership team to develop its overall ESG strategy as well as advance those efforts for each of its investment capabilities, the spokeswoman said. She could not immediately provide further information.
Ms. Nixon was previously ESG director at Blackstone. A Blackstone spokeswoman confirmed her title and departure and declined to comment further.
