Sapna Shah was named a managing director at Angeles Investment Advisors.
It is a new position, a spokesman said in an email.
Ms. Shah, who reports to Howard Perlow, managing partner and co-founder, will support the OCIO and consulting firm's investment committee in analyzing environmental, social and governance factors and their integration across asset classes.
Ms. Shah was previously executive vice president and head of corporate responsibility at Pacific Investment Management Co.
PIMCO spokeswoman Agnes Crane said Ms. Shah has been acting as a consultant since leaving the firm a year ago. Executive Vice President Marta Bezoari has been overseeing its inclusion and diversity strategy and the manager is currently hiring for an inclusion and diversity head, Ms. Crane said.
As of June 30, Angeles Investment Advisors had $37 billion in non-discretionary assets under advisement and $7.3 billion in OCIO assets.
