University of Pennsylvania's endowment returned 41.1% for the fiscal year ended June 30, above its benchmark of 38%, according to information on the Philadelphia-based university's website.
The $20.5 billion endowment returned 15.9%, 14.9%, 11.2% and 9% for the three, five, 10 and 20 years ended June 30, respectively, vs. their respective benchmark returns of 14%, 12.9%, 9.5% and 7.5%.
The endowment returned 3.4% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.
