The endowment of the University of Oregon Foundation, Eugene, earned 1.1% for its fiscal year ended June 30, underperforming its 5.7% benchmark, according to information on the $1.3 billion foundation's website.
The foundation assets includes its $930 million endowment.
The endowment earned an annualized 4.8% over the three years ended June 30, underperforming its 6.8% benchmark; an annualized 5.2% for the five-year period, missing its 6.6% benchmark; and an annualized 7.8% for the 10 years, outperforming its 6.8% benchmark.
The endowment's asset allocation was 57% growth, 27% risk reduction and 16% inflation protection.
