University of Cincinnati's $1.8 billion endowment returned 32.6% for the fiscal year ended June 30.
The endowment's return well exceeded its benchmark return of 22.2%, according to an annual report posted on the university's website.
For the three, five and 10 years ended June 30, the endowment returned 11.1%, 11.1% and 8.3%, respectively, compared with the respective benchmarks of 11.2%, 10.1% and 7.5%.
The endowment had returned -2% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.
The report did not specify whether the returns were gross or net of fees, and did not provide the endowment's asset allocation or returns by asset class.
