University of Chicago's endowment returned 3.2% for the fiscal year ended June 30.
Endowment assets grew over the year to $8.6 billion, according to an announcement on the university's website.
For the 10, 15 and 20 years ended June 30, the endowment returned an average compounded 7.7%, 7.4% and 6.6%, respectively, according to the Nov. 12 announcement.
The university did not provide gross or net information, benchmark returns or returns by asset class.
The endowment returned 6.9% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019.
