University of California San Francisco Foundation's $2.9 billion endowment pool returned 33.2% for the fiscal year ended June 30.
The endowment pool's return fell below its policy benchmark of 35.6% for the period, according to a performance report posted on its website.
For the three, five and 10 years ended June 30, the endowment returned an annualized 13.6%, 12.8% and 8.5%, respectively, compared with their respective benchmarks of 14.2%, 12.5% and 8.7%.
The foundation's website did not provide information on fiscal year 2020 returns, asset class information or whether the returns were gross or net of fees.
David Harkins, president and chief investment officer of the UCSF Foundation Investment Co., which oversees the investment management of the foundation, could not be immediately reached for further information.
