Lehigh University returned a net 34.5% on its endowment for the fiscal year ended June 30, above its policy benchmark return of 30.1%, confirmed Lori Friedman, a spokeswoman for the Bethlehem, Pa.-based university, in an email.
For the three, five and 10 years ended June 30, the $2.1 billion endowment returned an annualized 13.5%, 13% and 8.4%, respectively, vs. its benchmark returns of 13.1%, 12.5% and 9.4% for each of those periods.
The endowment returned a net 0.7% for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2020.
