Shanelle Brown was named a director of investments at the $8.3 billion W.K. Kellogg Foundation, a spokesman confirmed.
Effective June 21, she replaced Carlos Rangel, who became the foundation’s vice president and chief investment officer in February.
Ms. Brown is responsible for overseeing the portfolio and investment management of the foundation's public equities investments. She reports to Mr. Rangel.
Ms. Brown was chief of staff to Exelon Corp.'s chief financial officer. Prior to this role, she was a senior portfolio manager with the Exelon Investment Office, overseeing $18 billion in public equities.
