Dewi Dylander joined the World Climate Foundation’s Investment Mobilization Collaboration Arrangement team as senior director, leading the team tasked with supporting a project to mobilize blended finance to emerging markets.
The role is new, a spokesperson confirmed.
The WCF is a nonprofit foundation focused on forming global public-private partnerships aimed at tackling biodiversity loss and nature depletion. The platform also promotes a circular economy.
IMCA aims to mobilize billions of dollars in private capital to derisk climate investments by the end of 2025. It was spearheaded by Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway and the U.S.
Dylander was deputy executive director and head of ESG at Danish pension fund PKA, Hellerup. She led the department for ESG, policy and international affairs. She had been at the €59.1 billion ($64.5 billion) pension fund since 2018.
Pensions & Investments reported in May that she was departing PKA and that details on a replacement were not available, but that the pension fund’s “high ambitions” for ESG would continue. Spokespeople were not immediately available for updated comment.
